Weather Day One

Today was fun introducing weather to the kiddos!

We went outside and observed our surroundings! I didn't give them much guidance in the beginning because I wanted to see what kind of observations they would come up with!

We then filled out a KWL Chart about their current knowledge and what they want to learn about weather. I really do try to teach each question they have! It helps guides my lessons!

After our discussion we graphed our favorite type of weather. This tied right into our math lesson for the day! After we filled out the class graph, the kids interpreted the information on their own! Thanks to the amazing Cara Carroll! :0)

We also made up hand motions to this fun poem! FUN!

Tomorrow is all about the CLOUDS!!!!
