Weekly Newsletter {grab while ya can}

I send home a weekly newsletter to all of my parents explaing what we will be learning the next week and any important dates to mark. I use the same template each week but change out the wording and add different clipart! It is very easy and seems to be a great tool for parent/teacher communication.

Click the link to view my newsletter!

The first TEN people to comment and tell me their favorite parent/teacher communication technique [and their email] will win the document. I'll email you the Publisher version so you can easily edit it to fit your needs!

Happy Hump Day!

Great newsletter template! My students write a monthly newsletter that we send home in both English and Spanish. They also keep up our classroom blog with daily entries about what we learn each day.

Thanks a bunch!

It is very cute. I have a book with a behaviour report I send home each Friday. It contains Spelling and Number fCat results also so parents can help out if so inclined( in my area they never are but I keep trying). Also I send a few reminders on their homework sheet.

I love my B.E.E. books - Bring Everything Everyday. Each student has one and all correspondence with parents is put in the book. There is a folder for work completed during the school day. There is zippered pouch in the front for money and notes. It is a GREAT way to keep little ones organized.

I communicate via email each week with my parents, and I also post the same information on my school web site.

I use a STAR Book (Stuff To Always Remember) I found this very helpful. I keep a behavior log, reading log, communication log, a folder for things to keep at home and return to school, etc. Your newsletter is cute! :)

I love email! Especially since I have to rush out of the building with the kids! At home, I can easily access my parents and get a response within minutes :o)

I also do a weekly newsletter to communicate with parents and always put all the info on our class webpage too! I would like to try only posting on our webpage and have it be the parent's responsibility to check there....just not sure if we are at that point yet!

I use a newsletter, but I need to get better at sending it out every week. Normally I do a parent email list.
