How do you incorporate money & time into calendar or morning meeting??
Also, what other activities do you do with your students to work on these skills?
I'd LOVE your ideas!!!! In fact, if you have a blog post about either of the above why don't you leave your link in a comment so others can visit too!!! Thanks! :0)

We do a poem about each coin every day during calendar. For time we check the time and read the clock during every transition from one subject to another. This has helped the kids identify the hands on the clock more quickly because we do it 9-10 times a day!

My school uses Saxon, but we don't buy the premade calendar materials so I make it my own. Basically each lesson gives a time, money, pattern, and problem of the day. I created most of my calendar resources and you can see some of the pictures here. http://msdurning.blogspot.com/2010/12/welcome.html
Also each morning I have a "math leader" so they come in and complete the calendar tasks first thing.
Thanks girls! We do all the money poems and add a coin (penny) each day of school and then exchange coins once the values match! We also write the amount in two different ways. However, we don't do anything for time! We do patterns, too! Each month is a different theme! This month is cute little animated hearts and kisses! Presh! Thanks for the ideas! I'll look more on your blogs!
Saxon has the time of the day.. and then I usually ask questions like "what time will it be in a half hour?" or "what time was it 2 hours ago?" That kind of thing..

I blogged about how I reworked our Saxon time a bit to really make it a good fit for my room!
